Customer Review: Disappointed
I bought this blade because of someone's recommendation. I am disappointed with the performance of this blade as it causes a lot of burnt marks on my wood, both solid and plywood. It also does not cut as smoothly as my lower cost blades. May be it needs to be sharpened but it is brand new and I can't find anyone locally to sharpen it.
Customer Review: Woodworker II Rocks!
Truly the finest blade I have ever used. It sliced through 2 inch thick Hard Maple and Purple Heart like a hot knife through butter. I highly recommend this blade!

Freud D1060S Diablo 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Crosscutting Miter Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor and PermaShield Coating

This Diablo saw blade is designed to meet the needs of the construction and remodeling market. This advanced laser cut blade features a thin kerf, making it ideal for portable and low powered saws on the jobsite. A permanent Perma-SHIELD coating keeps this blade free from gumming and corrosion, and laser-cut stabilizer vents reduce vibration and heat buildup for more precise cuts and longer cutting life. This blade offers the quality that fine cabinetmakers expect from Freud, yet this blade is designed for the rough world of professional construction. This blade leaves a smooth, velvety finish that requires little to no sanding. Ideal for crosscutting oak, pine, melamine, veneer plywood, and delicate moulding
Customer Review: B. Howard, Master Woodworker
This is an excellent product. It gives a very smooth end grain cut, needing no sanding, on both hard and soft woods. I also find that burn marks are practically non existent. This blade can also be resharpened several times, but the affordable price makes it easy to replace if you can wear it out. A blade can be cleaned and maintained easily by soaking it in a solution of water and ammonia over night. Use a tooth brush to remove the lac that builds up on the blade, and carefully wash and dry before installing. This needs to be done when you notice a glaze building up on the blade. All circular saw blades need to be cleaned and maintained for safe optimum performance.

Customer Review: Good- but not as good as the 40 tooth version
I bought this as a less-costly replacement for a 40 tooth thin kerf WWII that I accidently ran a screw through and broke off twelve teeth. This was touted as almost as good and a good choice for an underpowered saw. I used this with my 1.5 hp. unisaw with the stabilizer disc. I would agree that it is almost as good as the 40 tooth and is better than the other brands I have used. It tends to burn more than the 40 tooth with not quite as clean a glue line, and for the results, I would spend the extra money for the 40 tooth, as the results with it are fantastic.
Customer Review: Forrest is TOP quality
I have a very nice cabinetmaker's shop, and appreciate good tools, both hand and machine. This is the third Forrest blade I've bought, because they are SO superior to other brands. (I also have their 80 tooth crosscut, and a thin kerf combo blade). I even quit having my saw/planer/jointer blades sharpened locally, because Forrest does such a superior job sharpening all of these. It's not as convenient, but the quality is worth it. You will NOT regret spending the money for this blade.

Customer Review: Like a hot knife through butter
This blade cut through both melamine and MDF that I attached laminate to with ease, and left a very clean edge on both sides of the material. Tear-out was virtually non-existent. I generally buy only Freud blades because of their superior quality, and this blade is no exception.
Customer Review: Sharp saw blade for molding
This blade cut through with little or no tear-out on the back side of the wood. It was the perfect choice for use on crown molding, as it left such a clean cut when done.
